Blaise Danio, an emerging artist, and designer fueled by her passion for decorative arts, functional fine art, and travel. She has spent years working in the arts in New York City, facilitating behind-the-scenes art installation with MOMA PS1, Sotheby’s, The Public Theater, and prop styling for Real Simple magazine. She has studied under internationally acclaimed artist, Michele Oka Doner.
Classically trained in the fine arts and self-taught as a graphic designer, Blaise works with high-profile clients on custom designs and public mural work. Buhlaixe Studio is carried in over 100 retail stores internationally. Blaise is currently a spotlight artist with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. Her work is frequently featured on Design Milk and in the New York Times Wirecutter edition.
