Photography is a world of light, color, and when you add texture a language all its own. It’s a world I’ve been drawn to since childhood.
Growing up just outside New York City, I was immersed in the sensory rush of urban life. The people, the rhythm, the flicker of lights and constant motion captivated me—and still do. That energy continues to inform my work today, as does the softer, quieter beauty of summer days spent on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard. These dual influences—urban grit and coastal serenity, run like a current through my photography.
I studied Textiles, Merchandising, and Design at the University of Rhode Island, and continued my creative education in Interior Design at The Studio Arts Center International in Florence, Italy. It was in Florence, surrounded by centuries of architecture and texture, that my perspective shifted. Assigned to reimagine an everyday object as something completely unexpected, I began to see the world differently. The grooves of a Pirelli tire became a pattern to me that I used for a project. From then on, I was hookedon transformation, surprise, and the hidden layers of the everyday.
Today, my work ranges from crisp, clean compositions to layered, abstract images that invite interpretation. Whether I’m photographing a bustling city street or a quiet ripple on the water, my focus is always on the interplay of texture, color, light, and movement. There’s a thread that connects it all, a visual storytelling that bridges the past and present. Photography allows me to weave together my love of design, art, and travel into a body of work that is both deeply personal and widely accessible. I strive to create images that spark curiosity, stir emotion, and bring a touch of the unexpected into everyday spaces.
I primarily work with interior designers, homeowners and art consultants. I have exhibited in many galleries and shows including the Affordable Art Show in NYC, Red Dot Show at Art Basel in Miami, Art Market Hamptons in Bridgewater, NY and The Architectural Digest Show in NYC.
I currently live in Fairfield County with my husband, David and our cutest mini bernedoodle, Tupelo.
