“I’m more interested in bringing people to the doorway of their own unique feelings than I am in trying to manufacture a certain set of feelings for them.”

“I’d love to move people to a state of stillness and quietness while they observe my work. Similar to the state I’m in when I’m working.”

“I’ve developed an unexpected love affair with watercolor.”
I’ve come to truly love the patient, meditative state the medium requires me to enter. Everything about the process, from the rich texture of the toothy paper to the way the pigment mixes with the water, makes me more sensitive and aware.

I find most of my inspiration in the people around me, and my relationships (both to myself, and others). Humans are connection machines, and understanding what drives them (the good, the bad, and the ugly) is forever fascinating to me.
“Most spaces I fall in love with are fortunate mixes of natural light, thoughtful combinations of texture, and a lean towards minimalism.”
