This vase was created to act as a reminder that 'nothing is genuinely broken, no matter how painful it might seem at the time.'
The object was charred before applying several pigments and inks. Based on the lighting and space, the object would show varying shades of blue-black. The edge shows some gold details that highlight the broken effect created by charring.
Dimensions: approx. 10" dia x 5.5" overall ht. The base is solid with a 1/2" dia x 2.75" deep hole drilled in the top.
Finish: finished with three coats of non-yellowing wood finish.
It is meant for ornamental or dry use only.
