This is a pendant light shade composed from vintage watch parts, wired together over a retro cage shade. An Edison-style retro lightbulb looks especially good inside the light. Beautiful shadows are cast when lit. Comes with hardware to connect it to an electrical box in the ceiling.

"As a collage and mixed media artist, I create detailed and meticulously constructed artwork from photographs, books, fabric and found objects. I collect things that intrigue me and often keep them for several years before deciding how to best incorporate them into my art.

I would like for viewers to be able to stand at a distance from my artwork and see a beautiful and fascinating composition, which will in turn draw them in for a closer look to reveal the surprise of the composite parts. I use the source materials to convey my cultural heritage and deep sense of history. My artwork is wholly contemporary and global, while at the same time honoring the ethnic and traditional, paying homage to those who came before."
