I was commissioned by The Word library in South Shields to create a piece for the wallspace within their rooftop garden area.
I engaged with local community members to discuss the project and to find inspiration. After discussions I created a design concept to create a magical garden theme, which features birds and plants regularly seen in the local surroundings, as well as a tribute to the literary focus of the venue, with a quote focussed on the power of reading.
