This artwork is a part of a series of paintings, "The nose." Another artwork of this series was exhibited at three different Art Galleries, one - in Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, another in Round Rock, Texas, and currently at Link and Pin Art Space as part of the Austin Studio Tour.
"Mother's fears" is a sculptured portrait of a pregnant woman or a woman who is thinking about bringing a child into this prejudiced world. In my case, the painting communicates a woman's fears about the everyday anti-Semitism against her future child. But you can take it to any other -ism. I am deconstructing a woman to a massive orange nose (which resembles a pregnant belly) and quite a sexy body only; the nose is sculptured, popping out the canvas's surface and being dissonantly huge.
The painting comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
I am an award-winning expressionist artist. Despite the pandemic, my artworks were recently exhibited in 33 Art Shows, including Solo and Duo Exhibits.
