Atelier Tapis Rouge was inspired to develop the mountain-themed collection, and we are pleased to introduce the Himalaya Collection, a symphony of gorgeous hues and mountain-inspired motifs. Each rug is hand-woven by skilled craftsmen using the finest materials, resulting in unique pieces of art that are as durable as they are beautiful.
The next piece captures the charm of dancing flames with its depiction of volcanic magma. The irregular shapes and textures of the rug mimic the solidifying lava, while the inclusion of silk threads adds softness and luster. It has a catchy name of The Volcanic Saga Rug. The use of the "abrush" technique, which involves hand-dyeing the raw material to create a color-changing effect, adds to the rug's beauty and uniqueness. This rug is a work of art created by Nepalese masters using ancient craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation.
