In the series of steel orbs ( each shown 3'x 3' x3' ) I have combined high density photovoltaics with superbright LED lights to capture the suns energy during daylight to shine through the night. The surface of each "cell" has a unique steel "drawing" or patterning. I cut and weld and design each piece by hand using a plasma cutter and MIG welder, and design and attach the photovoltaics. These shown are not for sale ( they have a permanent home in Delray Beach, Florida ) but can be commissioned for your needs. These works are in steel and powder coated but you can inquire about having them created in bronze.
