The Westley Hotel in downtown Calgary, Canada features a lighting cloud of MushLume pendants grown from mushroom mycelium Contemporary elegance meets science and design!
The MushLume lighting collection is GROWN, not manufactured, from mushrooms! Combining mushroom mycelium with local hemp to create a natural, sustainable and biodegradable lampshade. Each lamp is grown over the course of 4-10 days and is carefully handcrafted throughout the process of molding, growing and drying. The mushroom material is naturally white and overtime may take on more golden tones. The MushLume lighting collection is an initiative to start thinking differently about what products are made from and begin to reimagine a more sustainable future.
For indoor use only.
Fixture includes: hardwired shade-ready assembly with ceiling canopy and 6ft cloth cord (custom lengths available)
Light bulbs not included. For use with 8 watt LED bulb only (60W equivalent).
