Inspired by nature and the elegance of design.
Kristi Head first learned the fundamentals of painting in her kitchen on Long Island, with her mother. At fifteen she began her classical training in the visual arts, in preparatory school, and then went on to receive her BA in Fine Art and Art History from Boston University. She continued her education at Anderson Ranch Arts Center (Snowmass Village, CO) as well as studying graphic and packaging design at Parsons School of Design (New York, NY). Her training in design has served her art practice well, by seamlessly designing and executing large scale mural projects in both Los Angeles and New York City. Her paintings have also been exhibited in galleries and showrooms in both cities, as well as being included in numerous media publications including Domino, Surface, and FULL BLEDE. She lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.
