Makha is a bar stool made from a single piece of wood. The shape of this elegant stool transported the artist to the time of pagan female deities and is evocative of mystical feminine beauty. It gives the impression of a deep attachment to the hearth (the female deity Makha symbolises the cult of Mother Earth). Functional sculpture carved from a single piece of wood.
