We took the traditional Chinese Plum Blossom (Meiping) shape and updated it with a stronger, minimalist footing to achieve a streamlined yet grounded silhouette. The porcelain vessel was handspun in Taiwan by the Presidential Award winner in pottery, Chao-Tsung Hsu, exclusively for us at Lawrence & Scott. We finished this piece with a hand-turned, FSC-certified walnut cap and stand.
