Thrown and altered ceramic boxes are decorative and functional in the home or office. Sizes vary from very tiny to oversized statement pieces with single or multiple openings. Created with porcelaneous stoneware and surfaced in a pure porcelain with foraged wild iron engobe and a reactive cobalt matte finish. Each is lined with a traditional shino glaze with beautiful cobalt drips and runs. Colors vary with every unique piece with brilliant cobalt to soft algae greens with golden flecks and molten iron.
Each piece is unique in size and form but within designated size ranges. Please contact the artist if you have a preference for horizontal or vertical orientation, single or multiple openings. Each is high-fired to ^11 in gas reduction, fully vitrified and able to hold water.
