Wall sculpture made of hand coiled natural fibers on repurposed rope. Comprised of 9 individually hand wrapped pieces. Each unique, continuous formation is a variation on movement changing throughout the day as light and shadows shift, along with our perception of time in general.
The loops never repeat the exact same shape meaning that each piece in the grid is unique. Grids are a foundational element of textile production found in the warp and weft (horizontal and vertical) threads of woven fabric. These forms emphasize the concurrent structure and fluidity of textiles. Natural fibers and repurposed materials are used to minimize waste.
