Impressionist and atmospheric Landscape Photography

Jay Mason has an established eye for landscapes and the nuanced color palettes they offer. His body of work is bound by a similar subject matter - focusing on nature and its interaction with weather, light, and human intervention.

His skill for capturing scenes of bucolic tranquility, as well as more deserted, melancholy settings all effectually resonate a particular feeling, whether it be serene calm or somber isolation. Although each work has its unique mood, they all share a common thread of being immersive and atmospheric. His familiar treatment of skies; handling light, clouds, and subtle shifts in color is consistent across all pieces.
