Ecologically Conscious Art

Tracy Penn is an environmental artist whose multidisciplinary practice includes painting, sculpture, installation, and works on paper.

Her work celebrates the wonder of the natural world and raises awareness about the profound impact our actions have on the environment and our bodies.

Tracy did her artistic training at the Art Students League of New York, the International Center of Photography, and the New York School for Interior Design. She continues to broaden her knowledge by taking workshops with highly regarded artists throughout the country.

In a previous life Tracy worked in marketing at the Museum of Modern Art and museum education at the Solomon R. Guggenheim. She has a Master’s degree in Visual Arts Administration from New York University.

She attended the Chateau d'Orquevaux Artist Residency, in Orquevaux, France in 2022 and was awarded The Denis Diderot A-i-R Grant. In addition, she was awarded the Puffin Foundation Ltd. grant in 2023.

Tracy’s work has been shown in galleries throughout the world and is in private collections across the country.

She works and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
