"I create art with up-cycled materials, giving them a second life and creating more environmental value."
After a lifetime of working in art-related fields, including over a decade in advertising, stints at MOMA and the Guggenheim, I finally became a full-time working artist in January 2017.
I have come about my artistic training in a long and round-about way. I studied art history, as an undergraduate at Boston University, took courses in black and white photography at the International Center for Photography, and studied color theory, art history, and textiles at the New York School for Interior Design.
I have a Masters’ Degree in Arts Administration from NYU and have taken courses at the Arts Students League in NYC in mixed media, encaustic, oil painting, and abstract art.
