Transformation and Physicality in Textural Paintings and Assemblage

Woodward thrives on repurposing found objects and her own artwork in transformational, mixed media works, grounded in painting. Her pieces draw attention to the constant flux of image and object and conceptually speak to the process of creation. Woodward holds an MFA in Painting and a BFA in Art Education and has exhibited throughout the US and been awarded numerous artist residences. She lives and works just north of Chicago. Works presented here are mainly from her "Stabilize" series.
