Contemporary Abstract Expressionism

I’m an abstract artist based on the Central Coast of California, just about a half hour north of Santa Barbara. My work tends to be a series of expressions in the moment as I create. I sometimes incorporate gestural markings or phrases into my pieces which are typically influenced by music I listen to while I work, or phrases that get stuck in my head in connection with a particular piece. My work generally falls into the abstract expressionist category and tends to fit in well in most homes and contemporary spaces. I build my own canvases and frames typically and can make custom pieces to fit any space.
