The curve mug is a crowd-favorite design with a cozy shape and a slightly outwardly angled rim. The wave glaze design is inspired by the coast and is a modern take on blue and white china. Vanilla bean stoneware is thrown by hand on the wheel, trimmed, and handle is attached. It is then fired to 1888 F, artfully glazed by hand, and then fired again to 2160 F. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Dimensions: approx. height: 3.25”, approx. diameter: 4.25”, handle adds approx. 2”

Due to the handmade nature, slight variations in color, size, and shape/style are expected. Each piece is slightly unique - part of the charm of handmade ceramics!

Functional. Artful. Sustainable. Coupe Ceramics offers vibrant multi-use functional products that add delight to the everyday rituals of life.

Coupe Ceramics are entirely handmade in the North Admiral neighborhood of West Seattle. From the moment she opens a new bag of clay to the final firing, every step takes place within the walls of her home studio. Coupe is greatly inspired by the rich culture of ceramics of Italy, love of the cosmos and the sea. She takes immense pride in creating highly functional wares, and loves designing products that can be used in more than one way. Coupes’s core tenants are sustainability, interconnectedness, and embracing a mindset that values sustainability, slowing down, breathing deeply and appreciating the individual character of handmade art.
