Superb antique Japanese Boro distressed and patched futon cover repaired and assembled in my Brooklyn studio from multiple fragments and stretched onto Museo ALU-frame museum quality stretcher bars. Beautiful variety of patches dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s with contrasting colors and patterns and a very satisfying amount of distress. Strong, soft, medium weight hand-loomed cotton and hemp fabrics that are multi-layered in most places
