My digital composite photography pieces lure in the viewer and take them on a visual journey through a kaleidoscope of color and texture.

Joey Melinda Morgan utilizes photography and professional digital skills to create a unique, artistic style that takes the viewer on an abstract visual journey full of texture and vibrant color. She was born, raised and currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona. For as long as she can remember, Joey has used some sort of visual art as a form of self-expression. Texture found in nature and the varied hues and random patterns created from patina finishes on copper are inspirations. She uses her technique to captivate viewers and spark their curiosity with vibrant abstract digital compositions.

Joey has participated in juried exhibitions, sells to both private and corporate collectors and maintains limited gallery representation. Her ultimate goal is to see her work in more public spaces like hotels and commercial buildings.

Traveling to places to capture texture found in nature to be used in a future piece is now part of her fervent journey as an artist. She will continue to expand her composite imagery style and techniques - the possibilities are endless!
