Emphasizing the Balance Between Organic and Elegant

Aaron Smith Woodworker is a custom furniture studio based in Arroyo Grande, CA.
I specialize in designing and building solid, hardwood furniture using reclaimed, recycled or sustainably harvested domestic and exotic woods.

From my small studio, each piece of furniture is hand built by me, employing traditional woodworking techniques and uncompromising attention to fine craftsmanship. Although each project is unique, the same design protocol always applies: Create distinctive furniture that exudes imagination, curiosity, common sense and a deep respect for the material.

With a background in custom metal fabrication and cabinetry, along with a degree in Landscape Architecture, both creative design and nature are familiar friends.

At Aaron Smith Woodworker we enjoy collaborative relationships with individuals, interior designers and architects who are dedicated to creating unparalleled environments.
