How does the design of your space (or an element of the design) impact the experiences people have there?
"Taking inspiration from Myo's menu, we designed two screens - one with a traditional Burmese pattern around the kitchen and one with a Victorian pattern on the facade. The overlay of these screens creates the dining areas, morphing them into a spatial representation of the menu influences."

"We wanted to create a contemporary space that referenced the Burmese traditions chef Myo Moe grew up with."

What Custom/Original Element do your guests notice most often? What do they say about it?
"The kinetic facade is the most dynamic element of the restaurant for sure. The facade screen has a series of operable panels that allow us to open and close different parts depending on the time of day or season or amount of diners. It gives the space a unique quality at every time of day. As the panels move, the feeling of the space evolves with the day's patterns, like a meadow under a willow tree."
