What is the interior design style of your space?
"Mid-century cottage cozy. We have a mix of low slung and worn in new and vintage furniture, all super high quality and comfortable, to hold up to the demands of our young family. Art is a huge part of our life, and we have a good blend of original pieces, iconic prints, and lots of framed kids' art work. Basically our home is swathed in good vibes."

What Custom/Original Element do your guests notice most often? What do they say about it?
"Our home was built in the 30's, and we're the first to own it outside of the original family since it was built. So there is definitely a good energy the moment you cross the threshold here. We've done a LOT of work to the place, but kept so many original elements, like the Spanish Archway, the dark wood stairs and trim, and layout. We added a custom runner to the stairs to give it an update, re-did the kitchen and bathrooms, plus floors, but the best fusion of old and new is the gold spray paint on the original radiators. It's such a glam show stopper - like, "why wouldn't you paint the rad's gold?" It's one of the best features that honours the house in a brand new way."
