Q&A

What is the interior design style of your space?

"The house was built in 1874 so the history of the place is reflected throughout the house. It’s a combination of old and new, vintage and modern. As an interior designer I try to honour the atmosphere of the place. In this project, having the cottage in a family for a long time as a holiday house I was challenged with having some elements of the house set, such as the staircase and the layout of the space, but it all worked well in the end and it’s an interior full of personal history but made for future as it has all the technical features of the modern house and it’s fully fit for everyday life - including the floor heating and gorgeous iron stove providing the whole space with homely fire. Furnishing is an eclectic mixture of authentic vintage objects, refurbished objects (I do have an re-upholstery workshop on the second floor of the house so I re-upholstered most of the chairs and old sofas myself) and modern design."
Q&A

What Custom/Original Element do your guests notice most often? What do they say about it?

"They love the atmosphere of the place in general, there are just really good vibes about this home. Then they notice the details and often comment on the elegant spacious bathroom, doors with custom sanded glass and original wooden handmade bar with bar stools."
