Pinhole Coffee is based on stimulating senses with coffee, art and conversation. After years of looking for the ideal spot, they landed in the "Neighborhood in the Sky" of Bernal Heights, San Francisco on September 12, 2014. Pinhole space is housed at 231 Cortland Avenue, in Max Breithaupt's former butcher shop/grocery store from the 1880's. Their intention is to be an outlet for the community, to inspire and be inspired.
Pinhole takes its name from the basis of photography. When a pinhole is exposed to light it produces something grand...an image w/ many meanings. The intention is also based on the concept of all the little pieces that make up the whole, the experience produced by everyone involved.
