42 Grove St, New York 10014, NY
Buvette is your neighborhood spot for early morning coffee. It is your luncheonette. Your before-work / after-work respite. Your stand-up-sit-down dinner. Even your indoor-outdoor picnic. We are passionate about serving food, wine and spirits, using the best local and seasonal products available with a slow food commitment. We are proud to share all things Buvette online with our neighbors and friends. Ilovebuvette.com is a place to share our thoughts and stories on design, community and, of course, food and wine.

Opened in early 2011 by Chef Jody Williams, Buvette Gastrotheque is inspired by the European traditions that honor a history of craft and design where each detail evokes a sense of story, place and delight.

Part restaurant, part bar, part café, Buvette Gastrotheque combines the elegance of an old world cafe with the casual nature of a neighborhood eatery. It is a light filled space for an early morning espresso or a long lunch of shared dishes, even a spot for a late night digestif. Buvette is “a place committed to the pleasure of good food.”

Occupying a handsomly renovated store front on a tree lined block in the historic West Village, Buvette is open continuously (sunlight to candlelight) for breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring an array of French wine, as well the best and closest sourced meat and produce of the season.
