Ostrich Farm is an intimate, funky restaurant on West Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park. Run by husband and wife Jaime Turrey and Brooke Fruchtman, much of their classic American heritage fare is cooked over a wood-fired grill and is locally sourced, including produce from the restaurant’s own garden.
The 50-seat restaurant has quickly become one of L.A.'s hottest brunch spots. Turrey handles the cooking, while Fructman directed the design and manages the front end of the restaurant. She used local fabrication studio Style de Vie for most of the design and custom work, including the banquettes, a gorgeous marble bar, bar stools and wood-topped tables.
