Sara MacCulloch is Canadian representational painter who has been painting for over 25 years. She received her MFA in 2019 and her BFA in 1992, both from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design. She has shown extensively in North America, including having representation in Halifax, Toronto, New York and Chicago.  She has taught painting at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and has attended artist residencies in Nova Scotia, Sweden, Maine and Newfoundland. Her work can be found in many collections, such as: TD Bank, Bank of Montreal, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, University of Toronto, University of Iowa, Department of Foreign Affairs, Royal Bank of Canada, and Gotlands Kunstmuseum in Sweden. She lives in Halifax Nova Scotia with her daughter and dog.
