“Brooklyn born Marcus Suarez has been an accomplished artist for over twenty years. His career basically started by air brushing t-shirts and painting jeans and jackets at various flea markets and retail venues around the city when he was offered his first mural commission at a night club in New York which then became his calling for many years to come. By strictly word of mouth, Marcus's murals began appearing in New York's most popular night clubs, The Tunnel, Danceteria, Spo-Dee-O-Dee just to name a few.
His range of style is amazingly eclectic, encompassing everything from graffiti to classical, contemporary to futuristic. "Treump L'oriel" (so real that it needs to be touched to believe it's really just painted.) As his recognition and popularity grew, known as the guy that can paint anything his work became celebrated internationally. Working on commissions for the hottest night clubs, restaurants and venues in the country and abroad from the Big Apple to Miami, from L.A. to Paris where he was commissioned to paint a whole floor at the Gallery Lafayette for an exhibit celebrating the work of world renowned photographer and director D.L.C., who's books include many of Marcus's set paintings and backdrops adorning his many recognized and praised photos!
