How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?
"Every product is designed and manufactured in my tiny 250 square foot studio! I work with local suppliers and collaborators to produce everything, from the stickers and packaging to our photography and products themselves. I really like knowing the names of everyone we work with, and supporting other small businesses as well."

What do you want people to do or feel when they encounter your creations?
"I want to create delight through the utility and simplicity of my products. Music can create and soothe so many emotions- and I want people to want to come closer, touch my products and use them at home. My hope is that my products will excite my clients and help them take more time to listen to music, share it with their friends and family, and let the analog music experience become a more regular practice in daily life."

What funny moments, unexpected surprises, or obstacles have you encountered?
"In woodworking and in the vinyl-industry, there is often an assumption that it is a male field- so I do really enjoy confounding and surprising people who have that assumption. There were times that it infuriated me when my lumber supplier wanted to talk to "the boss" or sales reps would try to shake my husband's hand at events and give him their cards. Now I laugh, and its easy to shake it off and correct their assumption. I've met so many creative women, collaborators and professionals working in both these fields, it has created a great professional network that I really value!"
