As the founder of Gi Paoletti Design Lab, Gi leads her project teams through a unique collaborative process to achieve a greater vision in design. Gi Paoletti Design Lab provides interior design services from inception of design through the completion of construction.
Before starting Gi Paoletti Design Lab, Gi spent fifteen years working with notorious architectural firms RMW and NBBJ specializing in office interiors, high-end corporate commercial and mixed-use development projects. Gi’s projects from this time can be seen all over the United States and in South Korea. She spent two years working overseas in Sydney, Australia continuing her expertise in commercial design and mixed use development with Rice Daubney. With no challenge too big Gi began her own business by taking on the design of an elevated helicopter port for Blackhawk helicopters, something she had no experience in. The test flights were documented on the evening news and local newspapers.
Since beginning Gi Paoletti Design Lab, Gi has taken her experience in mixed-use development and expanded it to include exclusive resort, retail, restaurant and bar designs. Some of her most well known design achievements in San Francisco are Tipsy Pig, Bloodhound, Barrique, Maven, Per Diem, Noir Lounge, St. Vincent, Mr. Tipple's Recording Studio, Cadence, Homage, Scotland Yard and Sushirrito. Other notable projects are Sol Food La Bodega in San Rafael, Rootstock in Los Gatos and a 56-suite private resort in Marin.
