Lively and colorful abstract paintings to make your day brighter

I began painting and drawing when I was 8. I started off painting mostly fruits and other organic objects. The moment I knew I loved making art was when I spent a full hour (this seemed like hours at age 8) making a painting of grapes and oranges. I went home and thought about my painting all night, and was so excited to look at it the next day. I knew I was an artist by age 9 because I would notice shadows cast on the ceiling. I'd hang upside down to get a different point of view in my house. Ever since then I never stoped painting and drawing. I grew up in the woods of Maine surrounded by nature and landscape. The Maine landscape, and living in the Caribbean and Florida also influence my paintings.
