This is definitely a statement piece. It is very impressive in person. Nothing like this exists anywhere in the world, this is a completely unique, one of a kind item you will not find anywhere else.
I've always been fascinated by eclipses, that moment when there is full coverage, the corona lights up in that magical way, and temporary night descends upon the land. There's something really special about that moment, I wanted to capture it forever, I really think I nailed it here :)
If you would like one of these it can be recreated, or you can customize it as you like. This can be made in other sizes, with the price reflected in that change. Note: 4'x4' size will be a significant amount less than 5'x5', probably around $2200 plus shipping.
Shipping charges for this piece are tricky, it will have to be freight shipped which tends to be a bit more expensive, plus a special box will have to be made for it to survive the trip. Please contact me to set up exact shipping charges. I'm going to put in $500 for shipping, but if it turns out to be significantly more than that the customer will be responsible for the difference. Contact me with your shipping address and we can discuss options. Heck, maybe it's time for a road trip to North Carolina to come get some art?
