My practice centers the slightly unconventional folk art mediums of needlepoint wall art, chair caning, and macrame chair weaving. I primarily create dining chairs for the home and to-scale for restaurants and hotels. I aim to make work that is in deep connection with a craft from the past while using materials and aesthetics that speak to a contemporary audience.
