Meet the Creator
From land to table Ceramicist Charlotte de Lantsheere takes inspiration for her handmade tableware from Ibiza’s rich landscape.

Charlotte was born in Brussels, Belgium, where she obtained a degree in fashion design. She worked more than 10 years in that industry and specialized in denim.

After years of working as a product developer, she rediscovered her passion for working with clay. Indeed, after her secondary school, she has done a foundation course in art and design in Oxfordshire, UK, where she took her first classes and discovered the art of pottery.
In 2013,she has rejoined a pottery studio in Brussels.

Now, she lives in Ibiza, rural countryside, raising her daughter and settles in a house with a nice studio where she explores numerous alleys of this passion. Her studio sits overlooking the fields of almonds trees, surrounded by red grounded meadows with sheeps.

The organic shapes, rich in textures, as well as palettes of natural colors of her bowls, cups and plates reflect the beautiful landscapes of Ibiza, an incredible source of inspiration in her work.

Handmade ceramic pieces by Charlotte transform ordinary tableware into an artistic statement, bringing beauty and individuality to life’s daily acts.

Today, the very best restaurants across the island, and in Belgium, use Charlotte’s tableware to enhance the aesthetics of their menus while countless devoted private clients across Europe bring Ibiza to their tables via her earthy yet elegant designs. The originality of each piece is an opportunity to transform the ordinary purpose of tableware into an artistic statement; a chance to bring beauty and individuality to daily acts.
