Sycamore Tree #2: Metal and wood wall art
This product is made to order and has a 4-6 week lead time before shipping.
You also need to choose a frame color, I posted a photo of the 4 samples I have available, Espresso which is a very dark brown, Ebony which is more black in color, Dark walnut and brown walnut.
My standard color I use on all my artwork currently is Ebonized stained finish.
This artwork is a combination of reclaimed barnwood and a tree sculpture with 2 birds perched in the center of the tree. This was cut from black raw steel, which is 1/16” thick or 16 Gauge. The steel is mostly silver in color with some black coating that is original to the raw steel, this gives the steel a little bit of a distressed look. I also clear coated the steel to preserve it. The barnwood strips vary in depth from 1/4” to 3/4" to give the art piece some depth. All the strips of wood are completely natural in color accept for the dark espresso strips. The frame is made of Hardwood. I then applied two coats of Zero VOC water based sealer to preserve the art piece.
Each art piece is hand signed and dated in the back and I also make a custom made laser engraved wood name tag on the side of the piece.
I also include a heavy duty mounting bracket.
