This Love Sculpture came to me during a time of uncertainty for the world. I made the first few sculptures in the middle of the pandemic for reasons that feel a lot more powerful than I realized at the time.
I created the Love Sculpture as a reminder that no matter what's happening outside, I will always make love the centerpiece of my home.
Often we forget or underestimate how much love is shared through the physical presence of someone you love. We lost more than a year of warm embraces, milestone celebrations, family reunions and more. These experiences are the ones that made us say 'I wouldn't miss it for the world'.
As a constant reminder to never forget to be in the moment, to set an intention of love daily in your home and to always live through love. I have carefully handcrafted and handpainted these unique non-identical sculptures, giving each piece a one of a kind character that emulated the changes around us, yet grounds and reminds us to be present for the unique lives we all live.
