"Before the Beginning"

Maria Teresa style chandelier, 1 bulb.
I created "Before the Beginning", the child holding a small "Maria Teresa" style chandelier in his hands.
I consider it the most conceptual and intimate work of art I present.
The child carefully observes the reflections and the game of the crystals as a scientist studies the changing matter, as an artist observes reality and to understand it transforms it.
Like the Child I lose myself in the parallels that I find between the shape of the chandelier and the idea of an atom, a cell, the drops, water, life, birth, as if the child were holding up a small universe, a micro big-bang that contains itself and its origins, but also the origins of this poem, his one, which is born at this moment, Before the Beginning.
The sculpture was made with my hands with the techniques of classical sculpture, first in clay then molded and finally reproduced and retouched.
