Creator not accepting inquiries
Seattle-based Koryn Rolstad produces interactive and site-specific art installations with the intent to convey a community voice and iconic appeal.
Her "Illuminated Arboreal Data Codes" in front of the Rawls School of Business on the campus of Texas Tech University is a continuous installation of multiple tree form elements. This concept shows three major communication tree groupings totaling 13 tree forms, and makes reference to forms of text language, ancient through modern, used by many cultures to continue their messages and stories for trade and communication: Cuneiform, Morse Code, Braille and Binary.
