Chromatic Oasis is an interactive multimedia piece created by Christopher Janney at the Terminal A, 2nd floor before the security checkpoint of the Sacramento International Airport, CA. The presence of Chromatic Oasis changes the visual and aural aspects of the terminal since as the passengers interact with the piece, they create a place of rest within the airport environment. Chromatic Oasis consists of large colored transparent flat glass forms suspended horizontally from the ceiling under a colored skylight.
