Library Commission - Public Sculptures
Featured In Dayton Metro Library - Northwest Branch, Dayton, OH
Starts at $20,000
This permanent, site-specific, interior, and suspended sculpture was commissioned by the Dayton Metro Library. It was required that the commission be inspired by two works of art from the Dayton Art Institute's permanent collection, The Kuosi Society Costume from the Bamileke people and the Relief Fragment from Persepolis. I chose textiles form the two cultures and used the textile patterns as inspiration.
