Meet the Creator
"Schoolhouse Electric was founded in Portland by Brian Faherty in 2003 following his discovery of a long-lost collection of cast-iron glass shade moulds in an abandoned warehouse. After carefully restoring them back into production, his hard-working team at Schoolhouse used that experience to continue expanding their product range every year since. They are dedicated to the preservation of American manufacturing, thoughtful living and purposeful design. Their motto is "Want Better, Not More.""
