Item details

19" x 25", alcohol ink painting strips, wax thread against linen canvas, natural wood frame.

Part of a "Quarantine Confessions" series, created in response to the pandemic. Shards of paintings and tangled thread represent the upheaval and subsequent piecing together of a new normal, while titles explore observations made during quarantine. This particular piece is a nod to Zoom Happy Hours as a means to maintain a social connection.

The thread wraps around the edges of the frame. Signed and wire-hang ready.
