Acrylic, chalk & oil pastels on canvas, framed in 1.5" deep maple wood float frame. Wired and ready to hang. This started with what emerged as the image of a cypress tree in the center, which made me think of the famous "lone cypress" in Pebble Beach. The rest of the painting followed a journey that took me back to family road trips along the Monterey Coast, and those magical seventeen miles in the picturesque community of Pebble Beach. A short but sweet stretch of blue ocean waves crashing along white sand beaches, snug against the shorelines of rocky cliffs and mystical forests.
