Urban art is created to add an alluring richness and vibrancy to the more subtle and muted backdrop textures of industrial brick, concrete and steel. Shane has sought to add his own spark of vitality and beauty to urban communities through his iconic street art. In Lincoln, California. Shane worked with Oliver’s Brewhouse to create a mural that would be featured on the side of the wall of their business. Together, Shane and the owner selected an image to be featured on the three-story high wall that was reflective of the owner’s vision for the overall style of the business–a nod to a past era in which the building was constructed. The mural was completed in six days, and is painted in Montana 94 spray paint, which is a brand specifically created for street artists. The design is reminiscent of a 1920s era flapper with dark roses encircling her face and arms, and blue eyes piercing through curled, blond tresses.
