Thomas Melvin executed this mural in the foyer at the Lake Forest Children's Library in Chicago in 1992. Mr. Melvin wrote that he "endeavored to make the work decorative and playful at once. I did not wish that the images were too childish, that rather it's appeal should be also very mature."
