Tortilla House Mural

Featured In Calle Ocho, Miami, FL

Item details

This outdoor mural decorates the storefront of an authentic Mexican tortilla factory located in Calle Ocho, Miami. The mural is meant to show icons and images of Mexican culture painted in a way that looks like a drawing, with viewers ideally finding something new they hadn’t seen before every time they walk by. I’m so grateful for the opportunity that projects like this one give me to delve into research of a country’s culture, especially one that has given me many good friends! Some of my favorite things on the mural are the hand squeezing the lime over the taco and the iguana with the luscious mustache.”
